Suggestions for a Winter Emergency Car Kit

1.   First Aid Kit

2.   Sleeping Bags, Blanket & Pillows

3.   Clothing - Hats, Gloves, Winter Socks, Winter Boots (in case you get stuck in the snow)

4.   Snacks such as granola bars, jerky, dried fruit

5.   Water - Be sure to empty a little water out of the bottles in case they freeze, or use flexible pouches

6.   Consider a snow shovel, they can be used in many emergency situations

7.   Sharp Knife  

8.   Batteries - At least 2, a waterproof battery is ideal. Lots of extra batteries

9.   Jumper Cables - heavier gauge cables get more power to the car being jumped

10. Ice Scraper/Snowbrush

11. Fire Extinguisher

12. Hand Held scanner for weather updates, extra batteries
